Current Structure — Guardian Council

At launch, all operational control is vested in the Darkpool Guardian Council, a multisig body composed of:

  • Core developers maintaining vault contracts and adapters.

  • Risk engineers responsible for exchange integrations.

  • Compliance and treasury officers supervising fee routing.

Council Powers:

  • Pause or unpause vaults in emergencies.

  • Update risk parameters (drawdown limits, leverage caps).

  • Add or deprecate Agent Vaults.

  • Adjust fee recipients within fixed bounds.

  • Manage the treasury, referral pool, and staking emissions.

This ensures the network can respond instantly to risk events while contracts are still stabilizing under production conditions.

All Guardian transactions are executed through multi-signature governance (≥3-of-5) with time-delay queues for transparency.

Transactions and signers are publicly verifiable via the on-chain governance registry.
